📺 Render Modes
The Render Modes tool allows you to visualize the model using different shading techniques to inspect surface quality, texture data, and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) channels.
📺 Available Modes
1. Default: Standard PBR rendering with all materials and lighting enabled.
2. Albedo: Displays only the base color map without any lighting, shadows, or reflections. Essential for checking the raw diffuse texture details.
3. Normals: Visualizes surface orientation. Colors represent the direction the surface is facing (RGB mapping to XYZ vectors).
4. Roughness: Visualizes surface micro-surface data. Smoother/shinier parts appear darker, while rougher/matte surfaces appear lighter.
5. Metallic: Displays metallic properties. Pure metal parts appear white, while non-metallic (dielectric) materials like plastic or glass appear black.
6. Emissive: Highlights self-illuminated elements such as cockpit screens, indicator lights, and glowing instruments.
7. AO Map: Displays Ambient Occlusion, showing simulated soft shadows in crevices and corners to add depth to the geometry.
🖱️ Usage
- • Click any mode button in the Render Modes window to apply the visualization instantly to the entire model.
- • The mode is exclusive; only one diagnostic channel can be viewed at a time.
- • Return to Default to restore the realistic visual experience.
