👁️ View Tools Documentation

These tools control how you see the model.

🧊 Orthographic View

Function**: Toggles between **Perspective** (default) and *Orthographic projection.
  • Usage: Orthographic view removes all perspective distortion. Parallel lines remain parallel. This is essential for engineering inspection, aligning plans, or checking precise alignment of parts.

🔒 Lock Camera

  • Function: Freezes the camera in place.
  • Usage: Prevents accidental rotation or zooming. Useful when you have lined up a perfect shot or measurement and want to interact with the UI without moving the view.

🔄 Reset View

  • Function: Instantly moves the camera back to the default position.
  • Usage: Use this if you get "lost" inside the model or zoom out too far. It centers the whole model on screen.

🔲 Wireframe

  • Function: Toggles global wireframe mode.
Usage: Displays the triangle edges of *all meshes. Useful for inspecting topology density or finding hidden internal structural edges.

🎥 Preset Views

  • Function: Quickly jump to standard camera orientations.
  • Available Views:
* Top / Bottom: View from above or below.

* Front / Back: View along the main longitudinal axis.

* Left / Right: View from the sides.

* Iso: Isometric perspective for a clear 3D overview.

Usage**: Use these buttons to perfectly align the model with the world axes. This is extremely helpful when combined with the *Orthographic View for creating 2D plans or taking accurate profile measurements.
